During the last 20 years, Steven Lewis has helped lead church legal and leadership issue conferences in 27 states and is available to lead a conference for individual churches or groups of churches in your area. We generally meet with groups of churches to minimize the cost per church, but also to help build relationships between local church leaders as learn together how to achieve excellence in their ministerial operations.

We can lead conferences over a wide variety of issues, with the following as examples: church bylaws & governing documents; the major reasons churches and pastors are sued; The Church as Employer; attacks against church autonomy; political activism and the church; children & youth safety policies and programs; organizing to achieve church potential; and achieving excellence through church membership ministries.

We can design training conferences to meet your specific needs!

We are also available to consult with churches around specific issues and situations in which they find themselves. Steve Lewis is only licensed to practice law in Oklahoma and can only provide legal advice to churches regarding Oklahoma matters. He can consult with church leaders in other states providing general guidance with the admonition that they should seek confirmation over specific legal matters in their state with a capable attorney licensed to practice in their state.
