The proposed model bylaws are strategically and uniquely different than any other bylaws you've ever seen for a church. Our bylaws include provisions relevant to the 2009-2010 society in which our churches operate with all of its risks and turmoil. We include new valuable provisions protecting the church in regards to Christian marriages (excluding gay marriages). The bylaws assert First Amendment religious freedoms, and are written in an effort to significantly reduce the chance of litigation against the church, minimize the risks of judicial intervention in church affairs. We've written them to help protect and indemnify the staff and we emphasize the spiritual work of the church and its leaders. The bylaws are written not just for church leaders and members, but also with an intention to show judges and plaintiff's lawyers that the church's leaders know what they are doing.
Contents of Manual. Our manual consists of six chapters of how to adopt and implement a strategically new and unique set of bylaws at your church. We cover selection of team members, true case studies on why things need to be done in certain ways, common mistakes that most churches make in implementing their bylaws, and information about updating and amending your state certificate of incorporation and registered service agent filings. The manual includes 150 pages of text training material and includes a 38 page set of model bylaws, and a number of other forms regarding the certificate of incorporation and registered agent.
